The Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan (NSUR) has strongly condemned the tragic killing of the six Naga men whose mortal remains have now been recovered after weeks of uncertainty and anguish.

The press statement of NSUR stated that “we express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and stand in solidarity with them during this painful time. The loss of six precious lives has deeply saddened and shocked the entire Naga community.

“NSUR calls upon the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and all concerned authorities to conduct a thorough, impartial, and time-bound investigation and ensure that all those responsible are identified and brought to justice in accordance with the law.

“This heinous crime must not go unpunished. The truth must be established, accountability must be ensured, and justice must prevail.

“We also urge the authorities to take immediate measures to ensure the safety and security of all innocent civilians living in conflict-affected areas and to prevent such tragic incidents from recurring in the future.

“At this moment of grief, we call upon all sections of society to uphold peace, respect human dignity, and reject all forms of violence. No grievance or conflict can ever justify the taking of innocent lives.

“As one Naga people, we stand united in grief and in our pursuit of truth, justice, and ccountability for the victims and their families. We appeal to all right-thinking citizens, civil society organizations, and community leaders to join us in condemning this heinous act and supporting the cause of justice.

“As we mourn this tragic loss, we pray that the departed souls rest in eternal peace and that God grants strength, comfort, and courage to the bereaved families during this difficult time” added the statement issued by the Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan (NSUR)
