The President of Tangkhul Naga Contractor Long on 30 April 2026 issued a clarification stating that his signature was being forged and had neither signed nor supported the petition which was submitted to Hon’ble CM of Manipur on 27 April 2026 requesting for transfer of the Executive Engineer (PWD) from Kamjong Division.
In this regard, the President of Tangkhul Naga Contractor Long, Canning Keishing had issued a clarification stating that “with reference to a forged letter of Tangkhul Naga Contractor Long addressed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Manipur dated 27 April, 2026 regarding – Prayer for transfer of the Executive Engineer (PWD) from Kamjong Division, I, the undersigned, President of the Tangkhul Naga Contractor Long would like to clarify that my signature is being forged and I hereby declare that I have neither signed nor support such a petition.”
Such practise of forgery is uncalled for and needs immediate attention of the concerned authority.
