ENFOGAL and Pettigrew College, Ukhrul, have jointly launched Phase I of the Litter-Free Campaign in Ukhrul town under the theme “Be an Anti-Litter Hero,” with support from Ukhrul PHED.

The inaugural phase was conducted in the presence of Pettigrew College Principal, Dr. Ringkahao Horam, who addressed around 60 students, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and sustainable environment. He encouraged the youth to take active responsibility in addressing the growing issue of littering in the town.

The main objective of the campaign is to tackle the issue of littering in Ukhrul town through awareness and community participation. The campaign will be carried out in four phases across different parts of the town.

Through this initiative, the organisers have appealed to the public to refrain from littering and to contribute towards building a cleaner and healthier Ukhrul.
