The day began with welcoming and introduction of the freshers hosted by Mr. Nepuni Kovuhrii and Miss Lohra Aleina. The Inaugural session was graced by Mr. Heni Loli, Manager, SBI Senapati Branch, as the Chief Guest. The session began with a prayer by Mr. Adani, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Pol. Science, followed by the welcome song from the 5th Semester students and the address from Dr. Daili Neli, Principal. In his speech the chief Guest inspired the gathering with an insightful speech, motivating the freshers to strive for excellence in academics and to learn to enjoy learning together with friends. The session witnessed the special numbers, address by the seniors which culminated with the prayer blessing for the Fresh Students by the College Chaplain, Mr. S.K Abraham.

The Second (informal) session was hosted Mr. Ngachanthem Vashi, 5th Sem. Pol. Science and Miss Shihrani Daili, 5th Sem. Pol. Science. The highlight of the session was that it was a time of bonding among students as they get to know each other through the Freshers’ Talent and the question rounds, leading to the declaration of Miss and Mr. Fresher ACI 2026. After multiple rounds of competitions along with energetic display of vigour and style by the contestants, Miss Ashuli Adaziini and Mr. Tsiivei Topson Soukhamai were crowned Miss and Mr. Fresher respectively.

True to the opening address which declared that “your journey begins today, and your future is yours to create,” the college’s first-years experienced a mix of formality and informality as they kicked-off their new academic journey in ACI. The day concluded with a final prayer from Miss Ashuni, Asst. Prof. Dept, of Zoology.
