Naga Village Guard acknowledges ZOFIS Alert Advisory

With reference to the “Alert Advisory for the Zou/Zo People” dated 20 April 2026 (vide: ZOFIS/ADV/2026/01), the Naga Village Guard, Central Command, has taken due cognizance of the advisory and conveys sincere appreciation to the expressed and matured stand of the Zo Organisation for Intelligence and Special Operations (ZOFIS).

“In this given circumstances arising from the violent conflict perpetrated against the Nagas by the Kukis, the Naga Village Guard has declared to the global community of our resolute commitment to defend our LAND, IDENTITY and PEOPLE without compromise. As of now, we have not initiated any offensive action nor made any specific target against our adversaries” stated the press statement of Naga Village Guard, Central Command,

It further added “while acknowledging the discerning stand taken by the ZOFIS, we make this appeal for issuance of a list depicting the name of tribe/sub-tribe which falls under the Zomi community for record and clarity. In case should any person from the Zomi community wishes to undertake travel or visit within the jurisdiction of the Nagas, he or she may do so with a written and verifiable document issued by competent authority.
