The Central Working Committee, Tangkhul Naga Foothills Organisation expresses its deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all Nagas in Nagaland, Manipur, across the borders and our Meitei brother and sister for standing in unwavering solidarity with our two beloved Tangkhul brothers, Lt. SW Chinaoshang and Lt. Yaruingam Vashum, who tragically lost their lives at TM Kasom in an ambush by the Kuki Refugees Militant. In this time of profound grief and sorrow, the support, prayers, and unity shown by our people have brought strength and comfort to the bereaved families and to the entire community.

The statement reads “your collective voice and firm stand during this difficult period reflect the enduring strength of our shared identity, history, and brotherhood. It is in moments like these that the true spirit of our people shines brightest when we rise above fear and division, and come together as one, bound by common values, mutual respect, and a deep sense of belonging.

“We also honour the sacrifice of our Naga Village Guard brother, Lt. Horshokmi Jamang, whose lives were cut short while serving and safeguarding their people. Your memory will remain a source of inspiration and a reminder of the responsibility we all share to uphold peace, dignity, and the well-being of our communities.

“In moments of grief and uncertainty, it is this spirit of oneness that sustains us. The solidarity shown by our people across regions and borders is a powerful reminder that no matter the distance or circumstance, we remain united as one family. With this, we call upon everyone to remember in your prayers our NVG brothers who were injured and are currently undergoing treatment, as well as those who continue to serve on the frontline.

“Let us stand together today and tomorrow, just as we stood together yesterday. Let this unity not fade with time, but grow stronger with each passing day, guiding us with courage, resilience, and purpose.

“The CWC, TNFO once again conveys its sincere appreciation to every individual, organisation, and community that has extended support and stood in solidarity. We call upon all to continue upholding this spirit of unity, compassion, and mutual support as we move forward together, stronger and more determined than ever” added the statement issued by the Media/Information & Publicity Cell, CWC, TNFO.
