Phungcham Yangreiram delegates took up cleanliness drive on the streets and the main venues at Khamasom Walely, the host of the 58th RKL Meet 2026, setting a strong example of civic duty and community spirit.

The delegates could be seen collecting litters along the stretch of local streets and playground in the early morning of Monday and leaving it cleaner than yesterday.

Carrying sacks and carton boxes, the youth collected the trash including food wrappers and other waste.

This is not the first time in RKL Meet, we have seen delegates of Chingjaroi and others taking up such initiatives even in the past years. For the Rapheinaos, it is not a special act but simply what should be done. This act has been emulated and enacted by one after the other, and is becoming an exemplary service during RKL Meet.

“The cleanliness began at 06:30am in the morning and wound up at 08:00am. About 60 delegates from Phungcham Yangreiram participated in the cleanliness drive,” informed Peimiso Zimik, publicity incharge of Phungcham.
