Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim has condoled the passing away of Gen. (Retd.) Thinoselie M Keyho, President of NNC on 30 October 2026.

The condolence message of Ato Kilonser reads, “it is with a deeply saddened heart that I received the news yesterday of the passing away of my dear friend and lifelong comrade, Gen. (Retd.) Thinoselie M Keyho.

“We have journeyed together in the national resistance movement for decades with shared-hardship and sacrifice for a common vision and future of our people. As comrades in the Naga National Council, we were bound together not merely by a common cause, but by a deep sense of belongingness, conviction, and love for our people and our country. Those were years of great challenges, but also years that forged bonds of friendship and comradeship that time could never erase.

“Thinoselie was a true patriot, a man of vision who always carried the hopes and aspirations of the Naga people close to his heart. What touches me most is that even during his illness, when I spoke to him over the telephone, his thoughts remained with our people and the future of our nation. He encouraged me never to lose heart, but to continue fighting the good fight, reminding me that a settlement must ultimately be reached. Even in his final days, his commitment and concern for our people remained unchanged. That was the kind of man he was.

“A proud son of Chedema village, he joined the Naga Army with a youthful spirit and an unwavering desire to serve the Naga nation. Throughout his life’s journey, he stood for unity among the Nagas, believing that our strength lies in our togetherness.

“As we have journeyed through the revolutionary life more than seven decades, I cannot help but feel the weight of his demise. Comrades with whom we shared the struggles and dreams of our nation are leaving us one by one. With Thinoselie’s departure, another chapter of our shared struggle has come to a close.

“It is a matter of great pride for the Angami community in particular and the Naga people in general that a son like Thinoselie M Keyho was born among us and dedicated his life to the service of his people. His contributions to the cause, his convictions for the cause, and his unwavering faith in the cause of the Nagas will not be forgotten.

“I, on behalf of the NSCN/GPRN, convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and pray that they find strength and courage during this difficult time.

“Farewell, my dear comrade. We have walked a long road together. Though you have gone ahead of me, the memories of our shared journey and the ideals for which we stood will remain in my heart until my own journey comes to an end” added the statement of Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser NSCN/GPRN.
