Consultative Meeting Of Wung Tangkhul Region

In view of the rapidly deteriorating and volatile situation that has gripped the Wung Tangkhul region, the Provisional Authority of WTR convened a consultative meeting of the National Workers of Wung Tangkhul Region, NSCN/GPRN on 6th July 2026, at the WTR office.

After intensive deliberations on burning issues of the region, the house unanimously adopted the following resolutions:

Resolution 1: The Naga National Principle

The House concurred that the sanctity and indispensability of the Naga National Principle shall remain the immutable foundation of the Naga nation. Accordingly, all members present unequivocally reaffirmed and avouched their unwavering commitment to uphold and defend the Naga National Principle at all costs.

Resolution 2: The Framework Agreement, 3rd August, 2015

Resolved, that having thoroughly deliberated upon and understood beyond doubt that the Framework Agreement of 3rd August 2015, signed between the Government of India (Gol) and the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) constitutes the only viable and honorable foundation towards bringing the protracted Indo-Naga political negotiations to its logical conclusion, the House unanimously pledged to uphold and defend the Framework Agreement against any attempt to undermine, dilute, or derail its full realization.

Resolution 3: The Collective Leadership, NSCN/GPRN

And finally resolved, that the House unanimously reaffirms its unwavering trust, steadfast allegiance, and full confidence in the Collective Leadership of Ino Q. Tuccu, the Yaruiwo; Ino Tongmeth Wangnao, the Kedallo; Ino Th. Muivah, the Ato Kilonser; and Lieut. Gen. (Retd.) Vs. Atem, VC, Deputy Ato Kilonser of the NSCN/GPRN.

The Consultative Meeting of the Wung Tangkhul National Workers was attended by 240 National Workers from WTR.

The meeting commenced with the opening remarks delivered by Capt. (Retd.) Samson Jajo, Kilonser followed by the keynote address by Rh. Raising, Special Emissary to the collective Leadership. A short speech was also delivered by Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Ramkathing Varah. VC, MCL, Convener, Provisional Authority, WTR.
