The Ministry of Information and Publicity, Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim on Thursday issued a clarification condemning the threat and usage of language against Prof. Rosemary Dzuvichu. NSCN/GPRN also clarified that in no way WJ Longkumer is connected to NSCN in any manner whatsoever and promised to take necessary action against WJ Longkumer for bringing the group in bad light.

The clariification reads “the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) is shocked and appalled at the Facebook viral news posted by one WJ Longkumer in the group “Unified Naga Land For Christ” that has crossed the boundary of today’s civilized society as he used highly vulgar and profane language against Prof. Rosemary Dzuvichu for standing up for the women’s democratic and human rights. Such language went far beyond a mere personal insult. It constitutes a direct attack on women’ s dignity, modesty and character. Such derogatory slur and abusive language against women is not acceptable in today’s world, particularly in Naga society.

“What has caught our attention is, when this person shamelessly tried to connect himself as a member of NSCN. This has compelled us to clarify that he is in no way connected to NSCN in any manner whatsoever. For his recklessness to bring NSCN in bad light, we shall consider deemed necessary to deal with him in befitting manner.”

Many have condemned the death threat and the derogatory statement directed against Dr. Rosemary Dzuvichu, a respected Naga women leader.
