The Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Asish Das (IAS) on Friday issued a notification stating that all work proposal intended for consideration and recommendation to the respective Administrative Head of Departments, Government of Manipur shall be accompanied by a recommendation letter and all relevant supporting documents from the concerned SDO/BDO.
The notification further added that “proposals submitted without the necessary supporting documents such as Land Donation Certificate and No-Objection Certificate from the concerned Headman shall not be accepted or considered after 14 July 2025.”
The arrangement is made in order to streamline the process. There are reports of instances when a work proposal is accepted by the concerned authority but the project could not be materialise due to the non-availability of land. Therefore, the District Administration has directed to the public of Ukhrul to submit any work proposal along with the required documents from Village Authority and concerned SDO/BDO.
