The Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Asish Das (IAS) on Friday flagged off the contingent of Ukhrul District who will be participating at the State Level Inter School Games 2025, Under 14 and Under 17 category.
Asish Das stated “best wishes to the contingent from Ukhrul District as you participate at the State Level Inter School Games 2025 at Imphal. We will be waiting for you to bring a trophy. But even if you fail to bring the trophy, give your best and give them a tough competition and make sure that your opponent remembers the fighting spirit in you.”
The State Level Inter School Games 2025 will be held at Imphal from 3-6 October 2025. The 48 young athletes representing Ukhrul District will be competing at the Under 14 Boys Football and Under 17 Boys Football, which will be played at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium. The team from Ukhrul District will also participate in the Under 14 Badminton (both boys and girls) and Under 17 Badminton (both boys and girls) with its venue at MBA Hall.
The flag off programme at Mini Secretariat Complex, Ukhrul was also attended by DYASO of Ukhrul, Phami Vasha, Reisangmi Vashum, former national football player and others.
