Miss Friendship International announced Songashim Rungsung as National Director of India
The prestigious Miss Friendship International (MFI) pageant is an international beauty contest platform with the objectives of promoting and strengthening cultural exchange and friendship between China and the rest of the world.

Speaking exclusively with Rural Post, Rubaru Mr. India 2021 and Mr. Friendship International 2022, (Runner Up) Songashim Rungsung stated that, “being appointed as a National Director of India carries a profound sense of responsibility, as choosing the right individual to represent our country is both an honor and a challenge. Last year, sending Esme SS (Miss Shirui Lily 2025) as a representative from Manipur was a truly transformative moment for us. We are deeply grateful for the grace, strength, and dignity with which she represented our state. Through her journey, Manipur found a voice on the global stage, and many across the world came to know that Manipur exists. This year, we move forward with the same vision but on a much larger scale.”
Highlighting his vision for the future, Songashim Rungsung continued, “in collaboration with Miss Shirui Lily and the Indigenous Foundation, we are preparing for a greater platform and a bigger responsibility.
