RTA Kamjong Calls For Indefinite Blockade Along Indo-Myanmar Border

The Raizan Traders Association (RTA) Kamjong has called for indefinite blockade along the Indo-Myanmar border beginning 15 November 2025 onwards.

SD. Pharipam, President of Raizan Traders Association stated that, “to control and check the abnormal rise of price on the goods or essential commodities imported from Myanmar, there will be an indefinite economic blockade beginning from 15 November 2025 onwards.”

The economic blockade to control and check the price rise will be effective along the stretch of road from Kamjong to Myanmar border, a distance of about 35 kilometers.

Raizan Traders Association has appealed to the CSOs to extend maximum cooperation in their course of action. RTA has also appealed to traders engaging in timbers or livestock to move out or clear their stock on or before 15 November 2025.
