The Roudei Village Authority (T.M. Kasom) on 12 April, 2026 issued a notice barring entry of security forces or armed personnel or any related agency within the jurisdiction of the village without prior permission.

The notice stated” this is to inform all concerned that, at this critical juncture, no security force, armed personnel, or any related agency is permitted to enter, operate, or remain within the jurisdiction of the village without prior authorization. The Village Authority is the sole custodian and holds absolute authority over the administration, as well as the maintenance of law, order, and security within the village.”

“This has been our tradition since time immemorial, and we continue to uphold our customary laws and practices. No external force shall interfere in matters pertaining to the governance and security of the village.

‘Any security force or agency seeking entry into the village must obtain prior official permission through a formal written request submitted to the Village Authority. Requests made via phone calls, messages, or any informal means shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

“Any security personnel or agency found entering, patrolling, loitering, or conducting any form of military operation within the village jurisdiction without prior written approval from the Village Authority shall be doing so at their own risk. The Village Authority shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident that may arise. Such personnel or agencies shall bear full responsibility and consequences for their actions. Furthermore, the Village Authority reserves the absolute right to take any necessary and appropriate action in response to any violation of this declaration.

“This declaration is final and binding. Any security force, personnel, or agency found violating or disregarding this directive shall be subject to strict action and consequences as determined by the Village Authority” stated the order issued by the Roudei (T.M. Kasom) Village Authority.
