Two IRB Personnel Safely Release

The two personnel of the 11th IRB posted at Huimine Thana under Chassad Police Station, Kamjong District, Manipur who were detained today by the KNA-B has been safely released.

According to sources, the two were handed over to the Assam Rifles at the Indo-Myanmar border in the evening. The Assam Rifles posted at Phaikoh later handed the two IRB personnel to the Kamjong Police.

The duo had wandered inside the Myanmar border and was detained by the KNA-B. Later, without any harm, they were released by the KNA-B.

Huimine Thana is about 35 kilometres from Kamjong Headquarters, Manipur near Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar No. 102.
