RKL Meet 2026 Concludes; Peh Wins Overall Champion

The 58th edition of Raphei Katamnao Long (RKL), General Conference cum Sports, Literary and Cultural Meet concluded on Thursday at Khamasom Walely.

The overall champion went to Peh Katamnao Long. In the men’s football, Peh defeated Lunghar to claim the coveted title. In the men’s volleyball, Halang defeated Phungcham to claim and retain the championship. In the women’s volleyball, Shirui defeated Kalhang  to claim the trophy.

The best discipline team award was given to Shirui. In the individual awards, Rinrichon Shangh of Shirui was awarded the woman (volleyball) of the tournament and Thuingathing Chamroy of Halang was crowned the man (volleyball) of the tournament. The best football player was awarded to Lungsung Kharay of Peh, the top scorer went to Rinhanpan Shimrah of Peh and the best goal keeper award went to Tara Gachui of Lunghar.

The RKL Meet 2026 kickstarted on 7 January (arrival and concluded on 16 January (departure). The next edition of RKL Meet will be hosted by Chingjaroi Ngachaphung.
