Don Bosco College (Autonomous) Maram BSW Orientation Visit to Senapati

The Social Work Department 1st Semester of Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram recently conducted an Orientation Visit to five organisations in Senapati from 4 to 7 of August 2025.

The students visits the ART Centre (Senapati), CCM, SDYC, MANEDA and KVK, guided by two faculties Immanuel Fimate and Thanchuiliu Gangmei.

This was the first such exposure visits for the student, providing valuable insights into the practical functions of diverse sectors, ranging from health care, youth development to agriculture and rural empowerment.

The tour offered students the opportunity to interact with professionals, understand real-world challenges, and connect classroom learning with community realities. The students described the experiences as deepening our commitment to our chosen field of study.

The department express gratitude to Lungnila Elizabeth College staffs and administration for accommodating the students and all the host organisations for their warm welcome, the knowledge shared, sparing valuable time and teaching the students from their experience, marking the visit as a significant one in the student’s academic journey.
