District Administration Express Gratitude To The People Of Ukhrul

The District Administration of Ukhrul on Friday expressed heartfelt appreciation to the civil society organisations (CSOs) program organisers, volunteers and the populace of Ukhrul for keeping the town and venue of Avakharar’s homecoming spotless and hygienic after the event.

Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Asish Das (IAS) wrote a heartfelt appreciation note, “My dear people of Ukhrul, I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I pen down this letter to express my heartfelt appreciation for something which truly touched my heart. It wouldn’t be just If I didn’t appreciate this.

“What has touched me the most is the way you ensured that our town and venues were spotless and hygienic even after the event. Your selflessness and sense of responsibility are a shining example of the values that we hold dear. Your actions have shown that we not only care for our community but also for our environment.

“Your contributions have not gone unnoticed. You have set a remarkable example for others to follow, and I am confident that your actions will inspire a sense of civic responsibility in our community.

“I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you for your invaluable contributions. Your efforts have made Ukhrul proud, and we are grateful for your partnership in our endeavours. With best wishes.”

Speaking to Rural Post, “the next morning while I was going for my work, I witness the town and venue were all clean and spotless. It touch my heart, hence this appreciation note” added Asish Das.

After the homecoming event, the Tangkhul Leihsak Long undertook a major clean-up drive in collaboration with the Union Baptist Church -Youth clearing garbage and waste along the stretch from Ukhrul Headquarters Ground to Dungrei Junction.
