Chihui Group launched its high-end solvent printer at Hamleikhong, Hungpung, Ukhrul on Wednesday. Khavangsing Lungleng from Talui, the pioneer of the printing press in Ukhrul launched the printing house.
ColorBasket – design and print studio was launched 12 years ago. Proprietor Aran Chihui stated, “by the grace of God, we have been able to install this printing machine. It is our long cherished dream.And It is our conviction to give the best quality and materials. We aimed to expand our services not only in Ukhrul but to the rest of the places in the northeast.”
The printing press was first introduced and run in Ukhrul District by Khavangsing Lungleng in 1977. Khavangsing Lungleng stated, “one should write and print authentic works for future references. At that time, I had no money so I took a loan from the Western Education Fund and set up the printing press at Ukhrul. The then SDO of Ukhrul, Thanga from Mizoram and his wife inaugurated my printing press. I started printing vouchers and letterhead for the churches, women society and other certificates. Gradually people started coming.”
Since its establishment in 2013, the Chihui Group has been rendering their best service to the customers ranging from designing to flex printing and other related printing works.
