Asufii Christian Institute (Autonomous) (ACI) Mao, successfully completed its two day Annual Gospel Retreat on 25th September under the theme “Be Transformed” Rom. 12:2. The retreat is an annual event organized by the Spiritual committee of the college under the leadership of the Chaplain; S.K Abraham which calls students to rejuvenate their spiritual life in the campus. Philip Kholi, HoD Department of Economics and K Hinga, PGT, History, ACS led the two day program as Camp Directors.
Kayio Basena, the Mission director, MBC, Dimapur, and Viketuo Chupuo, Chairperson, Teaching and Training Department, UESI, Nagaland, were the speakers for the two days. The retreat began with the theme exposition by Kayio Basena in the morning session of the first day.
The two days consisted of five technical sessions and a gospel service to conclude each day. During the retreat the speakers stressed on topics such as ‘Stewardship’, ‘Dignity of Labour’, ‘Finding Divine Purpose’, ‘Faith in Campus’ and ‘Love, Dating and God’s Design’.
The two day program concluded with the Gospel Service led by Viketuo Chupuo. Over 450 Students including 47 teaching and non- teaching staff completed a fruitful retreat.
