6th Battalion Manipur Rifles Initiate Cleanliness Drives At Ukhrrul

The rank and files of 6th Battalion Manipur Rifles, on Saturday inititated a cleanliness drive at Ukhrul Headquarters on Saturday, in connection with the 134th Raising Day of Manipur Police which is scheduled to be celebrated in a grand manner at Imphal on 19 October 2025.

The cleanliness drive was carried out unders the direct supervision of Ravikumar Singh (IPS), Commandant of 6th Battalion Manipur Rifle, Ukhrul and Thotreithing Chalamva (MPS) Deputy Commandant of 6th Battalion Manipur Rifles, Ukhrul.

The cleanliness drives was taken up along the stretch of Ukhrul Town from Gandhi Chowk to Mini Secretariat. Food wrappers and other waste thrown haphazardly on the roadsides were collected in a trucks and had been disposed off safely at the disposal site.

The populace of Ukhrul expressed appreciation to the initiative taken up by the 6th Battalion Manipur Rifles. Their selfless service in keeping the town clean will leave an impact to the citizens of Ukhrul Town.
