The prestigious development of infrastructure for Shirui Heritage and Bakshi Ground at Ukhrul District, Manipur under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI), FY 2025-26 has been forwarded to the higher authority for awarding the contract work.
The office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul made the announcement to the media on Tuesday at NIC Hall, Ukhrul.
“The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul, informed the public that “the technical evaluation of bids for the project “Construction of Shirui Heritage Village and Bakshi Ground at Ukhrul District”, under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI), FY 2025-26, has been completed.
“Three bidders participated in the tender process, namely:
M/s Nongmaithem Enterprise
M/s Bhartia Infra Projects Limited
M/s Kim & Sons Construction & Equipments
“During the technical evaluation, all documents submitted by the bidders were examined in detail. Wherever necessary, independent verification was carried out from the concerned source authorities, including issuing departments and financial institutions, to ensure transparency and correctness.
“Based on the examination and verification:
The documents submitted by M/s Nongmaithem Enterprise and M/s Kim & Sons Construction & Equipments could not be substantiated in respect of certain eligibility requirements prescribed in the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT).
“The documents submitted by M/s Bhartia Infra Projects Limited, including the completion certificate for similar completed work and statutory compliance documents, were independently verified from the competent authorities and found to be in order.
“Accordingly, M/s Bhartia Infra Projects Limited has been found to be technically qualified as per the eligibility criteria laid down in the NIT.
“The financial bid of the technically qualified bidder will be opened as per the prescribed tender procedure. The entire process is being carried out strictly in accordance with the tender conditions and applicable rules, ensuring fairness, transparency, and timely execution of the project”.
“The project is of significant importance for tourism development and infrastructure growth in Ukhrul District, and the administration remains committed to completing the project in a transparent and time-bound manner” added Asish Das (IAS) Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul.
The briefing was also attended by Polly Makan (MCS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, PO DRDA of Ukhrul and Dinringam Kamei (MCS) SDO of Ukhrul Headquarters.
