Naga Flag Fly High For The First Time In Homalin

Naga Flag hoisted for the first time in Homalin by Eno Joseph, Chairman of Naga Traditional Literature & Cultural during the 79th Naga Independence Day celebration at Naga Cultural Ground, Homalin, Myanmar.

Homalin is a small town in north-western Myanmar and capital of the Homalin Township and Homalin District of the Sagaing Region. The town lies on the Chindwin River and is served by Homalin Airport.

Organised by South East Command, under the aegis of GHQ Naga Army, the celebration was attended by Tangkhul Naga Tribe, Makury Naga Tribe and Para Naga Tribe of Myanmar.

Brigadier N. Blesson (MSM) Naga Army expressed immense gratitude to all the participants. Special performance by Miss Mengoklisangpuv KVZ, NBC Choir and folk dance presentation by Tangkhul Naga Tribe added more colour to the historic celebration.

Sources informed that the Sagaing Division is now under the authority of South East Command, Naga Army, as per an understanding with the Myanmar Junta.
