Lieutenant General (Retd.) HS. Ramsan, VC, while coneying greeting has also expressed whole hearted welcome to the homecoming of Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser to his birthplace Somdal on 22 October 2025.

HS. Ramsan stated “we wholeheartedly and solemnly welcome the homecoming of our esteemed leader, Th. Muivah, to his native place, Somdal village, Ukhrul District, scheduled from 22nd to 29th October 2025. This is far more than a joyous return to his birthplace after over five decades of unwavering struggle for the Naga national cause, it is a historic and miraculous homecoming, a moment of deep significance both for the people awaiting him and for our beloved Avakharar (elder uncle).

“As one of the foremost architects and true statesmen of the Naga movement, Th. Muivah has stood as a pillar of integrity and courage. From his early days as General Secretary of the Naga National Council (NNC) in 1964 to his steadfast leadership as General Secretary of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN), he has remained unswerving in his commitment to the Naga people and their destiny. Through decades of trials and adversities, he has safeguarded the Naga nation from missteps and external subversions, proving himself time and again to be a God-anointed leader chosen for this purpose. We, therefore, continue to honor and uphold his leadership with reverence and conviction.

“We firmly believe that this homecoming of Avakharar marks not just a return, but a renewal of unity, purpose, and faith among the Nagas. May it illuminate the path toward healing our divisions and strengthening our collective resolve.

“In the words of Avakharar, as expressed in his “Statement of the Chief Political Negotiator, Th. Muivah, General Secretary/Ato Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN on the Indo-Naga Political Negotiation and the Letter and Spirit of the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015″ (7th November 2019). Standing firm upon the Unique History and Situation of the Nagas, and upholding the Sovereign Flag and the Sovereign Constitution of the Nagas, we reaffirm our unwavering faith in the vision and leadership of our beloved Avakharar. United under this guiding principle, we shall move forward with conviction and take the necessary political steps towards our rightful destiny.”
