DLSA Ukhrul Organise Legal Awareness cum Painting Competition For School Students

The District Legal Services Authority, Ukhrul organised a Legal Awareness cum Painting Competition for School Students under NALSA (Child-Friendly Legal Services for Children) Scheme, 2024 on 14 October 2025 at 11 am at Ukhrul Higher Secondary School.

The competition was held in the following three categories:

1. Safe Childhood, Bright Future – Class IV to VI

2. Say No to Child Marriage, Yes to Education – Class VII to IX

3. Together Against Child Labour and Trafficking – Class X to XII

The competition was participated by 180 students from different schools of Ukhrul Headquarter. And the category wise winners are:

Classes IV-VI

1st : Semchui Kasar, Class-VI, Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School

2nd : Wakah Sarang, Class-VI, Ukhrul Central School

3rd : Lanya Tungshangnao, Class-IV, Learner’s Kingdom Academy

Classes VII-IX

1st : Sakrinmi Awungshi, Class-IX, KTL Excel Higher Secondary School

2nd: Chansam Kingdang, Class-IX, Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School

3rd: Wungreikhui Jajo, Clasa-IX, Ukhrul Central School

Classes X-XII1

st: Elihom Awungshi Suirang, Class-X, Ukhrul Central School

2nd : Yungrei Zimik, Class-X, Maringmi Memorial School

3rd : Hansomi Chamroy, Clasa-X, Ukhrul Public School
