The District Administration of Ukhrul organised a “Campus Awareness Program” in connection with the Nationwide Awareness and Benefit Saturation Campaign for the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA) at Ukhrul Headquarters.
The DLOs of Ukhrul Headquarters participated in the Campus Awareness Programme held at the 3 venues namely Pettigrew College, St. Joseph College and Ukhrul Higher Secondary School.
The Information Education and Communication (IEC) Campaign on PM-DAJGUA will wind up on 15 July 2025. As part of the government’s initiative to saturate welfare schemes across eligible populations, the District Administration of Ukhrul has been extensively carrying out the IEC programme at various villages under Ukhrul District. During the programme, the attendees had the opportunity to directly engage with officials, clarify doubts, and access essential services.
The District Administration is to submit the certificate of saturation of PM Kisan, Aadhar enrollment, PM Jandhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat health cards on or before 15 July 2025 to the concerned authority.
The participants took the DAJGUA Pledge to support the campaign and spread awareness among the masses.
The campus campaign was also attended by the DAJA Team – Phapha Gachui, face of the IEC Campaign (Miss Manipur 2016), Guru Rewben Mashangva (Padmashri Awardee), James Riamei (Founder of Godwilll Music and frontman of GMP The Band) and Kenny Gangmei (Legal Officer TA & Hills). The media team consists of Ashok Veilou (Award Winning Film Maker) and Yuri Gachui. The team has been campaigning and spreading awareness about DAJGUA to every nook and corner of the state and Ukhrul is their last stop.
The scheme will cover 13 Districts of Manipur consisting of 57 blocks and 516 villages.
