Tangkhul lad Chingrihor Shatsang son of Miyar Shatsang of Namrei Village, Ukhrul District secured gold medal at the State Level Boxing Championships 2025 held at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena, Imphal from 21-27 July 2025. Organised by Manipur Amateur Boxing Association, Chingrihor Shatsang was also awarded the “Most Promising Boxer” of the championships. He secured the prestigious gold medal at the Under-19 Category (50 kg).
Meanwhile, the Raphei Katamnao Long (RKL) – the apex student body of Northern Tangkhul on Tuesday lauded the achievement of boxer Chingrihor Shatsang for his achievements.
