In compliance with the order issued by the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) on 23 July 2026 regarding the prescribed fare rate for Winger services plying from Ukhrul to Imphal via Litan, the following vehicles have been found to have blatantly violated the stipulated fare rate:
1. MN07C 4503
2. MN01S 4730
3. MN07D 4219
4. MN01G 5254
The above-mentioned vehicles have contravened the fare rate prescribed under the order of the Tangkhul Naga Long. Such deliberate violation is viewed seriously, as it amounts to non-compliance with the directives issued for the protection and welfare of the travelling public.
Accordingly, the concerned vehicle owners/operators have been dealt with in accordance with the rules and regulations of this Council.
Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL) has also issued a notice to commuters who travelled in the above-mentioned vehicles and were charged in excess of the stipulated fare to kindly approach the concerned authority and collect the excess amount charged, upon producing their respective valid tickets as proof of payment.
Moreover, the TMNL has temporarily suspended the services of the operators of the above-mentioned vehicles and ordered to suspend their services with immediate effect until 28 August 2026. They are further directed to strictly comply with the prescribed fare rate and all directives issued by the Council henceforth.
“Non-compliance with this notice shall invite stern disciplinary action under the rules of the Council. Any person found violating this directive shall do so at their own risk and shall bear the consequences arising from such violation. All concerned are therefore directed to take this Notice seriously and ensure strict compliance” stated the statement issued by Ringphapam Kasar, President Incharge of TMNL.
Issued in the interest of the travelling public and in strict adherence to the directive of the Tangkhul Naga Long.
