HAC Report On Delimitation of District Autonomous Council

The report of the Hill Areas Committee on delimitation of District Autonomous Council adopted on 8 June 2026 has been submitted to the Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat for necessary action.

Further, the Deputy Secretary of Manipur Legislative Assembly on 25 June 2026 has submitted the Delimitation Committee report on Autonomous District Councils of Ten Autonomous District Councils of Manipur Hill Areas to the Secretary to the CM.

The report of the Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly, on the delimitation of 10 District Autonomous Council of Manipur namely:

(1) Tamenglong Autonomous District Council

(2) Ukhrul Autonomous District Council

(3) Chandel Autonomous District Council

(4) Senapati Autonomous District Council

(5) Noney Autonomous District Council

(6) Churachanpur Autonomous District Council

(7) Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council

(8) Tengnoupal Autonomous District Council

(9) Kamjong Autonomous District Council, with 24 DCC each

(10) Pherzawl Autonomous District Council, with fifteen DCC only.

“The report was duly approved by the Hill Areas Committee of Manipur Legislative Assembly as per proper procedure under the rules of procedure and conduct of business, Manipur Legislative Assembly (Scheduled matters) and for the further necessary action” stated the report submitted by Pammei Ningmei, Deputy Secretary, Manipur Legislative Assembly.
