The Tirap, Changlang and Longding People’s Forum (TCLPF) of Arunachal Pradesh has strongly condemned the brutal and inhuman killing of 6 Naga brothers on 13 June 2026 at Kangpokpi District, Manipur.

The press statement issued by Sh. Tediap Hallng General Secretary, TCLPF and Sh. Sompha Wangsa, President TCLPF stated that “with profound grief and deep anguish, we express our strongest condemnation of the brutal, heinous, and inhuman killing of six innocent Naga brothers on 13th June, 2026, in Kangpokpi District, Manipur.

“This barbaric and senseless act of violence constitutes a grave assault on the sanctity of human life and a blatant violation of fundamental human rights. No cause, ideology, or circumstance can ever justify the taking of innocent lives in such a cruel and merciless manner. Furthermore, disturbing reports have emerged alleging that Naga women who were held hostage were fed the flash of own brothers treating inhuman and degrading manner following the killings. If verified, such acts would represent a shocking violation of human dignity and further deepen the anguish and trauma suffered by the affected families and communities. These atrocities not only inflict irreparable pain upon the bereaved families but also threaten peace, harmony, and communal coexistence in the region.

“We earnestly urge the State and Central Governments to direct the concerned law enforcement agencies to undertake an immediate, impartial, transparent, and thorough investigation into this heinous crime. It is imperative that those responsible for these barbaric acts are swiftly identified, apprehended, and brought to justice in accordance with the due process of law.

“We further call upon the authorities to strengthen law and order mechanisms and ensure adequate measures for the safety, security, and protection of all citizens, irrespective of their community or background. Any delay or inaction in addressing such grave incidents only undermines public confidence in the rule of law and the administration of justice.

“At this hour of immense sorrow, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who have suffered an irreparable loss. We stand in solidarity with them and pray that the Almighty grants eternal peace to the departed souls and strength, comfort, and courage to the bereaved families.

“We sincerely hope and expect that prompt, transparent, and decisive action will be taken to uphold justice, restore public confidence, and ensure that such tragic incidents never recur” added the press statement of TCLPF.
