The Emergency Presidential Council Meeting of the Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD), along with its frontal organizations, was held on 3rd June 2026 at the Tenyimi Union Office Complex, Dimapur.

After thorough deliberation on the prevailing situation affecting the Naga people in Manipur and adjoining areas, the meeting unanimously adopted the following resolutions:

1. Solidarity with Naga Brothers in Manipur.

The Tenyimi Union Dimapur and its frontal organizations express deep sorrow and extend wholehearted solidarity to our Naga brothers and sisters in Manipur during this difficult period marked by loss of lives and suffering. The Union stands firmly with the affected families and communities.

2. Condemnation of Abduction.

The Union strongly condemns the reported abduction of six Naga brothers by Kuki militants. The meeting demands their immediate and unconditional release and urges all concerned authorities to ensure their safe return at the earliest.

3. Protection of Tenyimi Ancestral Land.

The Union resolves that any further escalation, encroachment, or unlawful activities within the ancestral lands of the Tenyimi people by any group or individuals will not be tolerated. The Union calls upon all concerned to respect the historical and traditional rights of the indigenous Naga people.

4. Prevention of Illegal Influx.

The Union expresses concern over the influx of immigrants into Naga ancestral lands and urges the competent authorities and traditional institutions to strictly enforce existing laws and regulations to safeguard indigenous rights, land, and resources.

The Tenyimi Union Dimapur reiterates its commitment to peace, justice, and the protection of the rights and interests of the Naga people.
