In order to provide connectivity to remote, difficult and hilly areas in Manipur, Manipur Heli Service from Ukhrul to Imphal was launched in March 2024.
“The model of the Helicopter is Global Vectra. The service is being provided at a subsidised fare of Rs. 2500 only with 75% subsidy scheme from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India” informed Raimeson WS, Nodal Officer, Ukhrul Heli Service.
The service is provided every Saturday and Monday. The departure time at Somsai, Ukhrul is 10:30am. From Imphal, the departure time is 10:00am. A total of maximum 11 passengers can be accommodated at one time.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
1. Each passenger is allowed to carry a Baggage of 10 Kgs.
2. Excess Baggage Rs. 300/Kgs.
CANCELLATION CHARGES:
1. 24 hours prior cancellation is charged Rs. 500/-
2. 4 hours prior departure cancellation charged is Rs.1000/-
3. No refund will be processed within 4 hours, prior to departure.
