BREW IT LIKE THE LOCALS
Add half a teaspoon of tea leaves per cup to boiling water. Let the tea steep for one to two minutes. Add honey, sugar, milk or lemon. Enjoy! Feel like a second cup? Just add another round of boiling water to the uncurled leaves. It’s a resource-responsible way to unwind.
The plucking season starts from March till October. Plucking is seasonal. After plucking, one has to wait for the new shoots to grow. Pruning is usually done in the winter season.
Nilai Tea Estate is a family legacy. Yet is an asset of the Tangkhul.
