UNC Invites All The Naga Community To The Civic Reception Of Th. Muivah

The United Naga Council (UNC) -the apex Naga body in Manipur has invited all the Naga communities to join the Civic Reception of Ato Kilonser, Th. Muivah at Tahamzam on 29 October 2025.

The press release issued by the Media and Publicity Cell of UNC stated that “the United Naga Council (UNC) invites all the Naga community to be part of the “Civic Reception” in honour of Eno Th. Muivah, Honโ€™ble Ato Kilonser, GPRN on the 29th of October 2025 at Tahamzam (Senapati) District Headquarters.”

“The event will take place at Senapati Stadium, Tahamzam from 10:00am -01:30pm. The day has been declared as GENNA and calls upon all communities to refrain from any economic and commercial activities and to declare holidays of all the educational institutions in Naga areas as a mark of respect to our Hon’ble Ato Kilonser, Th. Muivah” added the press release.

The UNC has also stated “let this day be a symbol of unity, strength, and commitment in a quest for self-determination based on the Unique History and Position. The collective efforts will surely bring peace, prosperity and progress in the Naga territory.”

A warm reception was accorded to Th. Muivah, the Prime Minister of NSCN/GPRN on his homecoming at Ukhrul Headquarters on 22 October 2025. Another reception was given at Somdal -his birthplace on the same day.
