Imphal International Airport to Celebrate Yatri Sewa Diwas 2025 with engaging activities for passengers and community on 17 September 2025. A series of exciting activities designed to enhance passenger experience and strengthen community participation.

The celebrations will begin with a traditional welcome, where arriving passengers will be greeted with Tika, symbolizing warmth and hospitality. This will be followed by a tree plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative, with active participation from local dignitaries and senior citizens.

Adding a cultural touch, travelers will be treated to vibrant local folk dance performances during peak hours, showcasing the rich heritage of Manipur. For young participants, the airport will host a quiz and painting competition on patriotism within the terminal, encouraging creativity and awareness.

To make the day more memorable, a specially designed photo and selfie booth with airport branding and hashtags will be installed at key passenger touchpoints, encouraging visitors to capture and share their experience on social media.

In line with its commitment to health and well-being, the airport will organize a blood donation camp and set up a free health check-up kiosk, including specialized eye check-ups for both passengers, drivers and staff.

As part of its outreach initiative, students from Classes 10 to 12 will be invited for an airport familiarization tour and a career guidance session focusing on opportunities in the aviation sector.

To broaden the reach of the celebrations, social media influencers will be creating engaging vlogs, highlighting the airport’s facilities and the seamless passenger journey.

The event will conclude with a media debriefing at 5:00 PM on September 17, where the airport management will share key highlights of the day’s events and valuable passenger feedback.

Speaking about the celebration, the Airport Director’s said:“Yatri Sewa Diwas is not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of our commitment to providing safe, seamless, and passenger-friendly services. Through this event, we aim to bring passengers, community, and culture together at Imphal International Airport.”
