Haokok United Football Academy is the champions of WM Foundation Sub-Junior League 2025. Organised by Tangkhul Football Players Association (TFPA) under the aegis of Ukhrul District Sports Association (UDSA). Iconic Sporting Club walked away with the runner up title.
Worngachan Shatsang, Secretary of TFPA stated that, “the WM Foundation Sub-Junior League 2025 is organised by by Tangkhul Football Players Association (TFPA) under the aegis of Ukhrul District Sports Association (UDSA). The League kickstarted on 12th of July 2025 and concluded on 23rd of August 2025 at SS Turf, Hungpung Kazipphung, Ukhrul. The tournament was participated by 160 young players, from 8 teams, all under the age of 13 and we believe this is going to put very well for the development of grassroot football in the district.”
Wungngayam Muirang is a national football player from Ukhrul District, Manipur presently playing at Diamond Harbour FC. Muirang had earlier played for Utlou SAI, Shillong Lajong FC, Pune FC, Pune City, Gokulam FC, Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC. The Sub-Junior League 2025 was sponsored by his foundation – WM foundation.

Top Scorer – Wungshung Khashim of Haokok United FA (21 goals)
Best Player – Sirathan Vashum of Iconic Sporting Club
Best Keeper – Ngayeithem Hunphunwoshi of Ukhrul Basic Soccer Foundation
Best Midfielder – Khararpam Raikhan of PEFA
Best Defender – Ranso Valui of Haokok United FA
Most Promising Player – Blesso Rungsung of Iconic Sporting Club
Young Player of the Tournament – K. Ngachanhor Kengoo of Hoomi FC
Hundreds of football lovers witnessed the Sub-Junior League 2025 at SS Turf, Hungpung Kazipphung, Ukhrul. The winner walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 20000 and runners up Rs. 10000 along with certificate and Rs. 1000 for all individual prizes.
