AURORAE B Productions‘ debut film “Onkatho Mirin” (Second Chance Serenade) has been finally released on 22 August 2025 at Town Hall, Ukhrul by SA. Ramnganing, Former President of Tangkhul Naga Awunga Long.
Speaking at the movie premiere, SA. Ramnganing stated that “films are the mirror of our society and lauded the cast and crew and AURORAE B Productions team for their debut film. Film can bring social changes and raise awareness about social issues and inspire audiences to address societal problems.”
The 2 hours and 6 minutes long feature film is a fun filled rom com, focussing on light hearted humorous plotlines from the beginning to the end.
“Onkatho Mirin means a second chance or a new beginning” stated Chipemmi A Shatsang, the director and main protagonist of the movie. The cast of the film are all from Challou village. There are no famous artists and it their first time in acting. The female lead of the movie Shimreiwon Wungrei requested everyone to watch the film.
Talking to few people who watched the premiere, they are full of praise for the movie for its spontaneous and natural acting and their connection with reality. Hundreds of Tangkhul movie lovers attended the premiere show.
