Organising Committee's Information To The Public And Media

The Organising Committee on Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser’s Homecoming has given out certain guidelines to be followed strictly on the 22nd October 2025 at Ukhrul Headquarters.

1. Media briefing on 22 October 2025 at 08:00am at TNL Multi Complex Hall, Wino Bazaar, Ukhrul.

2. No drones from outside will be allowed to fly above Ukhrul Town.

3. The stretch of road from Bakshi Ground, Hungpung to Ukhrul Headquarters Ground will be closed to the vehicular movement from 06:00pm of 21 October 2025 until the end of the programme on 22 October 2025.

RS. Jollyson, Vice President of Tangkhul Naga Long and also the Co-Convenor of the Organising Committee while interacting with the media persons stated that, “the Tangkhul Frontal Organisation has formed an organising committee on the occasion of our beloved Th. Muivah’s homecoming ceremony. We have received, thus far, unprecedented support morally, physically, financially from different walks of life, from different corners. The preparation is in full swing and almost all the preparation is all set. We are ready to welcome our beloved respected Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser.”

RS. Jollyson also informed that “we are also briefing the media on the 22nd morning starting at 08:00am at the Tangkhul Naga Long, Multi Complex Hall, Wino Bazaar, Ukhrul where all the cameras, all the equipment will be thoroughly checked. Only after getting the security clearance, we will be giving out the media pass to the media persons. Those media who fail to turn up for the briefing will be barred from entering the venue. Secondly, no drones from outside will be allowed to fly above Ukhrul Town, except for those who have been permitted by the concerned authority. We have contacted for three drones; apart from that we will not allow any other drone in the arena.

“The stretch of road from Bakshi Ground, Hungpung to Ukhrul Headquarters Ground will be closed to the vehicular movement from 06:00pm of 21 October 2025 until the end of the programme on 22 October 2025. Only those vehicles with passes from the Organising Committee will be allowed to play within the restricted area. Once again, I would like to request the people of Ukhrul to be part and parcel of this momentous occasion, the homecoming of Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser, GPRN, NSCN” added RS. Jollyson.

President of Tangkhul Naga Long, Sword Vashum in a press release has appealed to “all the Tangkhuls to join in welcoming our beloved and respected Mr. Thuingaleng Muivah on 22nd October, 2025 at 11:00am at Ukhrul Headquarters Ground.”
