Haokok United FA: Wing Your Dream With Passion

Haokok United Football Academy (HUFA) officially unveiled their academy and club kit on Saturday at Rashontang, Kazipphung Hungpung.

YL. Hungmayung, Secretary of Hunpung Village Authority unveiled the kit of Haokok United Football Academy (HUFA). Speaking at the kit unveiling ceremony, YL. Hungmayung stated, “the passion and dedication shown by Ngaraipam Kasomhung – proprietor of the Academy, is indeed praiseworthy. Hunpung is indeed grateful for his service and we will always extend our undivided cooperation to his future endeavours.’

Former national football star, Reisangmi Vashum, President of Tangkhul Football Players Association (TFPA), lauded the initiative taken up by the Haokok United Football Academy in nurturing the young talents of the Tangkhul community. “Through sports, we can bring development and unity among the community. It is so encouraging to see the Hungpung community coming together along with generous sponsors for their support and encouragement.” He appealed to the players to take this opportunity seriously and with discipline and perseverance and shaped their future dream.

Ngaraipam Kasomhung stated, “the journey is very challenging, but with support and prayer from well wishers and the Villagers, I have come this far and I am indeed grateful to you all. He expressed immense gratitude to all the sponsors and individuals who have contributed generously towards the grooming of young talents at HUFA.

The kit was jointly sponsored by Live Soundz, Ezo, Penta PG and Undercroft. Established in 2019, the Academy has 58 students and 42 students from the academy are receiving free education at Kazipphung High School.
