GPRN Extends Appreciation & Gratitude To Naga People, GoI, Meitei, Meitei-Pangal, Kuki Inpi & Gorkha Union

The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim, Organizing Committee for the Hon’ble Ato Kilonser’s visit to his native birthplace, Somdal Village on Saturday issued a statement of appreciation and gratitude to the Naga people, the Government of India, Meitei CSOs, Meitei-Pangal CSOs, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, Gorkha Union and to various other organisations for the love and support shown during the historic homecoming of Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser of NSCN/GPRN.

The statement issued by Francis Ningshen, Secretary, Organizing Committee reads “words may not suffice to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Naga people who have made a strong statement in the form of organizing a heart-touching Homecoming event at Ukhrul and a Civic Reception that follows at Tahamzam (Senapati) on 22nd October and 29th October 2025 respectively in honor of the Hon’ble Ato Kilonser Th. Muivah’s visit. The Organizing Committee is much indebted for the unconditional love, respect and support shown towards our leader by the Naga people. History has been made and generations to come will talk about the unprecedented public gathering proudly waving the Naga national flag. NSCN/GPRN is deeply touched, inspired, and rejuvenated by it more than anything. For all the love and support that you have shown, we are ever thankful and humbled.”

“Our profound gratitude goes to the United Naga Council (UNC) and its subordinates, Naga People’s Organization (NPO), All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) and its subordinates, Naga Women Union (NWU) and its subordinates, Naga People’s Movement for Human Rights-South (NPMHR-S), Churches leaders, Naga Village Chief Federation (NVCF) and its subordinates, various frontal organizations from Ukhrul and Tahamzam, students and teachers, and various choirs from different Naga tribes for the warm reception and active participation. Your impeccable gesture of reception extended towards our Hon’ble Ato Kilonser and his entourage during the entire one week visit to his hometown Ukhrul, native village Somdal, and to Tahamzam has been truly remarkable, warm, and poignant.”

The statement further added “our appreciation to the Meetei civil organizations, Meetei-Pangal civil organization, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, and Gorkha Union for their solidarity, participation, and presentations. Such gestures only strengthen our partnership in building a progressive and peaceful coexistence.

“We are indebted to all the donors who have generously contributed financial and material assistance to the Organizing Committee for the success of these events. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly!

Our sincere appreciation to the Government of India, District Administrations of Ukhrul and Senapati, traffic police, doctors, nurses, and various departments for your cooperation and prompt assistance whenever needed.

“We are also thankful to all those who have shared their love and kindness to our Hon’ble Ato Kilonser and his lady wife with all the thoughtful gifts. It means a lot to them and will be cherished.

“Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to each and every individual who attended the Homecoming event at Ukhrul and a Civic Reception at Tahamzam from every walk of life and from different places. Your presence has actually made the day more pleasant, meaningful, and historic. We shall look forward to having your unbroken support and cooperation in the days to come.”
