CNPO Reaffirms Unwavering Support For Lasting Indo-Naga Solution

The Chandel Naga People’s Organisation (CNPO) observed the decennial commemoration of the historic Framework Agreement at Chandel Headquarters and reaffirmed their unwavering support for lasting Indo-Naga solution.

In a press release issued by Information & Publicity of CNPO stated that “On this 3rd August 2025, as we observed the decennial commemoration of the historic Framework Agreement signed between Government of India (Gol) and the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) on 3rd August 2015, the Chandel Naga People’s Organisation (CNPO) on behalf of the 11 Naga Tribes of Chandel reaffirm its unwavering commitment, steadfast and constant support for lasting solution towards the Naga quest for Self-Determination base on Framework Agreement.”

The CNPO has also demanded for solving and implementation of the following key issues at the earliest-

Naga Solution based on the Framework Agreement at the earliest.

Immediately stopping of coercive construction of border fencing.

Revoke scraping of Free Movement Regime (FMR).

Recognition of Naga Constitution and Naga Flag.

The Event was also attended by the Executives/Leaders of 11 Naga Tribe Hohos, ANSAM, NSUC & it’s Units, Tribe Women Unions, Naga Chiefs Assn. Chandel, Chandel Naga Christian Forum, and well-wishers. A special Mass Prayer for Naga Leaders and Framework Agreement was led by Rev. Shonnai Saka, President CNCF. For the first time, The Framework Agreement is translated into all the 11 Naga Tribe dialects by the concern Tribe Hoho and read out to the congregation in all the Churches during Sunday Church service with prayer.
