Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has strongly condemned the most cowardly and barbaric acts of crime committed by the Kuki militants on 19 October, 2026 at Sunulok Hills near Hongmahn Village under Sagolmang Police Station where three innocent Meiteis were killed.
The statement issued by the President of TNL stated that “the most barbaric incident claiming the lives of three innocent Meiteis on 19th October, 2026 at Sunulok Hills near Hongmahn Village under Sagolmang Police Station. The victims were out in the jungle on the fateful day cutting firewood to eke out their daily livelihood and in no way pose threats to any and particularly to the Kuki militants responsible for the massacre.
“The Tangkhul Naga Long vehemently condemns the most cowardly and barbaric acts of crime committed by the militants supposedly espousing the cause of their people whatever that be.
“It is a matter of serious concern and utterly shameful at that, that the most ghastly incident had happened in close proximity of where the highest administrative authorities and security apparatus are located.
“It is the demand of the Tangkhul Naga community that strictest action both at the political and administrative level should be taken in order for putting a stop to all such criminal and terrorist activities once and for all” stated the statement issued by Sword Vashum, President, Tangkhul Naga Long.
