National Socialist Council Of Nagalim, Provisional Government, Mt. Horeb has strongly condemned the drone strike allegedly carried out by the Indian Army at Langkho Village in Eastern Nagalim on 3 October 2026.

The statement issued by Media & Publicity Cell, Provisional Government, NSCN/GPRN stated that “the Provisional Government of NSCN, registers its strong condemnation of the drone strike carried out by the Indian Army upon Langkho village in Eastern Nagalim in the early hours following midnight on 3rd October, 2026. The attack wounded two civilians, including a minor girl and destroyed properties. If the government of India believes drone strikes will silence the Nagas, it is mistaken. We will not back down from our resistance to defend our sovereign rights.

“This action constitutes a violation of International Law and an act of aggression against a civilian population. The government of India presents itself to the world as a birth place of civilization, a birth place of Ahimsa, and the champion of peace. Yet, its actions in Nagalim reveal a different reality one of impunity and violence against civilians. This is not an isolated incident but part of a sustained pattern of military repression that has afflicted the Naga homeland since the 1950s. The Armed Forces Special Power Act, imposed in 1958 has long shielded Indian forces from accountability for grave human rights abuses, including extrajudicial killings and the destruction of civilian lives and properties.

“India seeks and lobbied through various platforms, aspiring to join the five existing permanent security council members of the UN. The international community must confront the reality that a state whose conduct within its own borders contradicts the principles it professes on the world stage be entrusted with such responsibility? A nation that preaches against terrorism while perpetrating violence against minority populations cannot credibly demand a seat at the highest table of international governance.

“If India denies responsibility for the Langkho drone Strike, it should raise no objection to an impartial international investigation in the attack.

“The provisional government of NSCN calls upon the international community to institute an independent inquiry into the drone strike at Langkho village, Eastern Nagalim and to hold those responsible accountable. We further call upon every citizen of Nagalim to remain vigilant and to assert our rights” added the statement issued by the Media & Publicity Cell, Provisional Government, NSCN/GPRN
