The Katho Katamnao Long observed World Cleanup Day on 20 September 2026 by conducting a cleanliness drive from Finch Corner to Ramva Village. The activity also included a follow-up on the tree saplings planted earlier on 5 June 2026, World Environment Day.
KSM Chansingam, Forest & Environment Secretary, Katho Katamnao Long stated that “the activity was organised to demonstrate our concern about climate change and the growing problem of pollution, while also raising awareness among citizens and encouraging everyone to join hands in addressing these challenges.”
Katho Katamnao Long also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Forest Department, Ukhrul, for sponsoring the cleanliness drive and supporting this environmental initiative.
