ATDUM To Observe Third World Day For Assistive Technology

The All Tribal Disable’s Union Manipur (ATDUM) is all set to observe Third World Day for Assistive Technology on 4 June 2026 through Zoom.

The information stated, “in observance of the third World Day for Assistive Technology on June 4, 2026, All Tribal Disable’s Union Manipur- ATDUM is hosting a Social Media Contest to address the barriers preventing people with disabilities in India from accessing essential assistive products, services and systems. These challenges include high costs, limited availability, a lack of quality devices, and insufficient government subsidies.

“The contest will run from Saturday, May 16, to Sunday, May 24. Three winners will each receive a crest and a cash prize of Rs. 2300.

“We cordially invite you to a community briefing to discuss the competition rules and details. The briefing will be held on Thursday, May 14, from 11 am to 12:30 pm through the Zoom platform.”
