TNL Working Committee Accuses Central Security Forces Of Giving Intel To Kuki Armed Militants

The Working Committee of Tangkhul Naga Long has accused the Central Security Forces of giving intel about the whereabouts of the Naga Village Guards to Kuki Armed Militants and facilitating the naked aggression.

The statement issued by the Media Cell, Working Committee, TNL stated that “the WC of the TNL is appalled and deeply distressed by the premeditated attack by Kuki Narco Terrorists on Naga Village Guards at Ringui Horei Kaphung early this morning, just days after an alleged combing operation was carried out by a combined force of Central Security Forces. This is not the first instance where a combing operation carried out by the Central Security Forces within the Naga jurisdiction is directly followed by an attack on Naga Village Guards by Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists.

“On April 28, combing operations at Lungter Hills in Sinakeithei was followed by an attack on the village by Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists on the same evening. These incidents raise a troubling question on whether combing operations have become a gimmick meant for mere optics on social media rather than actually combing out militants.

“At Ringui and the adjoining areas, a combing operation had been carried out on the 30th of April 2026 with large numbers of Central Security Forces stationed at Shongphel and Mullam villages, both strongholds for Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists.

“On the 2nd of May 2026, TM Kasom, New Haven and Naga civilians plying along the NH-202 road adjacent to Yaolen Kuki village came under heavy fire from Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists stationed at Yaolen village. However, on the following day, the combing operation was conducted by the Central Security Forces destroyed defense bunkers of the Naga Village Guard at New Haven while no such operation was conducted at Yaolen (where the shootings originated from) despite request for the same.

“On the 5th of April, Thoyee village came under unprovoked attack from Kuki Narco Terrorists but the following day, Security Forces forcefully entered the village to destroy defensive bunkers while allowing the Kuki perpetrators to carry on their aggression uninterrupted.

“From the very onset of the violence, the Naga Village Guards have banked on the word of the Central Security Forces who promised action against the aggressors in every red zone of the conflict. To this date, the Naga Village Guards have never fired a single bullet in aggression, firing only in defense and retaliation when the attack from the Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists become too severe. However, the Central Security forces have failed miserably to uphold their end of the bargain, making it evident that they have been coercing the Naga Village Guards into a cul-de-sac while allowing the Kuki aggression to gain momentum.

“It can now be stated without an iota of doubt that the Central Security Forces are actively giving Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists intel about the whereabouts of the Naga Village Guards, facilitating the naked aggression of the Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists against the NVGs defending their rightful land.

“Such acts of complicity by the Central Security forces with an alien force (Kuki SoO cadres and Kuki Narco Terrorists) in the very land of the Indigenous Naga community is a crime against humanity being committed by the very institution that exists to safeguard the right to life and freedom of the people.

Should the Indian Government continue with their covert plan of using proxies to wage continuous war with Naga civilians in a bid to undermine the Naga fight for self-determination and sovereignty, the Nagas will be compelled to actively seek international help to defend our land and our people” added the statement issued by the Media Cell, Working Committee, TNL.
