The Tangkhul Naga Zingsho Longphang (TNZL) has warned minus bidding for all the projects or programmes that will be taken up in their jurisdiction.
In a press release issued by SP Lowry, Chairman of TNZL stated that “this press release is necessitated by the various concerns raised by our community regarding developmental activities and programmes undertaken by both the state and the Centre in our land. While we deeply appreciate and welcome the tireless efforts of the government to bring about all-round development in our area, we are taken aback by arbitrary negative tender bidding that gravely hampers and impacts the overall quality and reliability of such programmes and projects.
“Therefore, all projects or programmes undertaken under Zingsho Longphang jurisdiction are hereby requested to cease negative bidding at all costs, including the upcoming construction of the New Model Degree College at Kamjong District Headquarters under PM-USHA 2025-26 by the Department of Education (S), Engineering Wing.”.
“We further remind all concerned that Zingsho Longphang shall not remain a mute spectator to corrupt and negligent officers, dereliction of duties, or departments functioning under its jurisdiction. We anticipate the wholehearted dedication of all departments towards our overall development and progress” added the press release.
