The District Industries Centre, Ukhrul and Kamjong Districts conducted the Awareness cum UDYAM Registration Drive under Raising And Acceleration MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme for Jessami Block on 18 September, 2025 at Mera Yuva Bharat Hall, Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.
Themreiyo T Awungshi, General Manager of DIC, Ukhrul and Kamjong Districts, addressed the participants and highlighted about the Udyam Registration and its benefits. Themreiyo T Awungshi further explained the participants about the MSMEs. He emphasized the entrepreneurs on Udyam Registration as a priority. He also informed the participants on the various available schemes of the state and central government and how to approach the banks for loans and the recovery process by the banks.
Entrepreneur from Jessami Block, Dearson Khansu, CVO and Marketing Director of TRIBALGOO Private Limited, elaborated on the speedy socio-economic development of the district. He demonstrated to the participants about packaging and labelling of products. He also explained on marketing strategies, innovation and sustainability.
Entrepreneur Rey Vashim taught the participants about the linkage of today’s industries with the E-Commerce market platform and the process for easy and better marketing with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and related market platforms.
