AURORAE B Productions’ debut film “Onkatho Mirin” (Second Chance Serenade) is all set for release on 22 August 2025 at Town Hall, Ukhrul at 07:00pm.
Produced by Pem AwungS, cinematography and editing by Raikhang Jajo, the romantic comedy – drama Tangkhul Naga feature films will feature Pem AwungS, Shimshim Wungrei, Iyampem Yangya, Thanmi Horam, Yarngam Chamroy, Ngamreiton Mungleng, Soyo A Shatsang, Albert Horam, Daniel Lungleng, Nino Horam and Valleyrose A Shatsang on the lead role.
About the film, Khanrin, a charming but troubled young man, escapes his town life and addiction demons by visiting Challou village, where his mother teaches. His plan to lay low takes an unexpected turn when he meets Yamphi, a beautiful and kind-hearted teacher at the local primary school. Khanrin concocts a scheme to substitute for his mother, just to get close to Yamphi.
As Khanrin and Yamphi work together, their initial awkward encounters blossom into a heartwarming connection. Khanrin finds himself drawn to Yamphi’s warmth and kindness, and she, in turn, is touched by his vulnerability and determination to change. Amidst the picturesque village backdrop, they navigate the ups and downs of life, love, and self-discovery.
As Khanrin works to overcome his past, he learns valuable lessons about relationships and finding one’s true purpose. Will Khanrin and Yamphi’s love story unfold amidst the challenges he faces, or will his demons pull them apart?
The original soundtrack for the movie is composed by Pem AwungS and sung by Bruno Awungshi. Recorded and remastered by Kakami Raihing, drone videography by Reingamyo R Shimray and Peimi Zimik, the romantic comedy drama has already received rave reviews on social media.
